Joel is an enthusiastic and determined personal trainer specialising in strength training, body conditioning, functional training, nutritional advice and weight management.
Having trained for 9 years, Joel understands how easy it is to become demotivated when body goals aren’t being met. Years of experience in the industry have given him the skills and knowledge to help others reach their targets. His unique and efficient approach to training provides clients with the tools to look and feel fitter, stronger and healthier, while improving overall lifestyle and increasing confidence.
In 2015 Joel decided to use his years of training experience to take up competitive bodybuilding. In his first year he competed in the UKBFF West Midlands Championship “Men’s Physique” division, and came 1st, qualifying for the British final and placed 7th in the UK for his height class.
In 2017, Joel again decided to challenge himself and set out to compete in the UKBFF West Midlands Championships “Men’s Physique” division. However, on the day of the competition Joel was disqualified from the “Men’s Physique” division as his physique was considered too muscular for this division. He was invited by the event organisers to enter into a higher division – the “Muscular Men’s Physique”. A higher level of athlete competes in this division. Joel was apprehensive as this was not the division he had trained to compete in, however, Joel was ecstatic when he was placed 1st in this division.
Joel qualified for the British final and was placed 4th in the UK.
